A wallpaper organizer built for Mac

Wallset turns an ordinary folder into a fast, keyboard-friendly wallpaper library without moving your collection into a database or hiding it behind an account.

Four layouts

Use Grid, List, Preview List, or a centered Horizontal filmstrip.

Filename search

Type to filter your local library with a simple case-insensitive filename match.

Full-size preview

Press Space to inspect a wallpaper at full size before applying it.

Useful file details

View the filename, pixel dimensions, file size, and date added with ⌘I.

Rename or Trash

Maintain the real files from the picker; deletion moves images to recoverable Trash.

Pro collections

Group wallpapers into named sets such as Nature, Dark Mode, or Work.

How it works

Built into a fast Mac workflow

    Point Wallset at a folder

    The default ~/Pictures/Wallpapers folder works without a permission prompt, or choose another folder once.

    Add the images you already own

    Drag supported files from Finder into the picker or place them directly in the configured folder.

  3. 3

    Search, inspect, and arrange

    Filter by filename, change layouts, preview at full size, rename files, and use Pro collections when you want another layer of organization.

Your folder remains the source of truth

Wallset works with real files in a normal macOS folder. Supported formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, and TIFF. Unsupported files are ignored during scanning.

Collections do not duplicate your images

Pro collections organize references to local wallpapers. If a trial ends, the collection data stays on the Mac; it becomes accessible again when Pro is unlocked.
